This ideology we adhere to and teach all of our students and clients is best demonstrated in this case study.

The client owns a simple website that offers a beach house for rent.  It’s a nice beachfront property right at the southern tip of Alabama (I know… I didn’t know Alabama wasn’t a land-lock state either).

This is a perfect location for quick getaways and is up for rent.  The owner, rather than just relying on the outdated traditional forms of advertising and paying hefty for it, decided to get creative and go online.  So he enlisted our services.

It’s nothing fancy and gets right to the point.  He gives exactly what people want, which is an opportunity to rent his beach house!

Let’s take a look at the backend, which is the amount of traffic this little website is generating for him:

Notice over 80% of the traffic going to this website is from the search engine alone – that accounts for over 1,265 in just one month (or over 42 visits a DAY!)  And here’s the kicker… when the owner of this website gave us these stats told us these stats are actually at the worst month of the year (right around the holidays when NO one is really searching online).  This explain why the first half of the chart shows the traffic at half of what the second of the chart shows.

So what does all of this traffic mean?

According to the owner, a transaction (someone renting the beach house) averages out to be about $2,200 in the owner’s pocket.  On a bad month, he gets one transaction a month, on a good month, three and more.

Conservatively speaking, he averages in around ~$2,700 a month with this property.  Now bear in mind that this is done with NO OTHER marketing than the services we are providing.

His current “lead count” averages in at around 100 a month – this means the average value per lead he gets on this website is ~$27.00.

Suffice to say… the owner is a happy camper :-)
