If you're new here, you may want to subscribe to my RSS feed. Thanks for visiting!
A lot of times, people think that just throwing content up on a website or blog will be enough to drive traffic and create a buzz.
They’re wrong.
Article writing is incredibly important when it comes to creating a website that people actually want to visit. A website with superior, well written content that offers new information will not only get a higher ranking on search engines, but keep the visitor happy. Nothing is more frustrating than searching for something, thinking you’ve found it and then finally visiting the website only to realize it doesn’t offer anything new you didn’t already know.
Boost the authenticity of your website by creating quality articles that can be updated often. Also remember this little fact while you write: quality over quantity.
A very long article won’t be particularly interesting to a reader if it doesn’t offer anything new or exciting or thought provoking. That in turn lets the reader know that you are a trusted website who will present useful information in a well-written way.
Additionally, when trust is built it means that any links or products you post will be taken seriously. The reader is going to be interested in your opinions. Perfect if you’d like to start doing reviews or back linking or simply selling your own product faster!
So don’t just slap anything on a page. Make sure you use your SEO skills and get started writing quality content a few times a week today!

A demonstration on how you can increase the efficacy of your SEO’d articles by having the proper “opt-in opportunities” readily available to your readers.
This article is very mechanical in nature and is predominantly written for the sake of the search engines… and not so much for actual readership. After all, it’s pretty challenging to have your keyword and related keywords stuffed in a ~400 word article on your topic AND still make it interesting, entertaining, and engaging right?
This is why we have the opt in box on the right, the opt in box RIGHT after this post (which is optional) AND the popup.
I’d strongly recommend the popup as it gives your reader a chance to see that your website/offer IS relevant to what he/she is looking for (assuming you did your SEO properly). This is before he/she reads your less-than-stellar SEO’d article that lies underneath the popup.
As for the opt in box right after this post, that’s optional because frankly, they should see the opt in box on the right (in the sidebar).

Using social networking has become commonplace and so Facebook has become necessary in order to promote businesses, especially those that are primarily online. This is great for people on a marketing budget, so a business really should be taking advantage of setting up a free Facebook page online. This can get you an incredible amount of traffic to your website, and in turn that can get you a lot of business.
When you make a Facebook page, start by making sure you have all the information you need, including a link to your web page! However, don’t think it stops there. Be sure to include more than just your business’ address. You have to continue updating! A boring Facebook page won’t lead you to very many customers. Keep things interesting with status updates and even contests to get people looking, and more importantly, commenting on your page.
Also, remember, that even though this is Facebook, avoid getting too personal or friendly in your updates. While it is nice to share, for instance, the birth of an employee’s baby, don’t talk about any colds you might have or if you’re so happy about the weather. Also avoid swearing if you want to keep things professional. Things like that aren’t productive on a business website and may even deter people from looking! You can still keep things fun, but definitely professional and you find that people will come back just to see what your page has going on!

E-mail marketing is a great way to get your company’s name out there, but how to get people to read your newsletters? It’s a little too easy to send things to spam nowadays, so here’s how to hook people in and actually open up your promotional e-mails.
1. Act Like Your Belong
If your email acts like spam, then your potential customers are going to think it actually is spam. Make sure that you don’t mislead your customers and be honest- yes it’s an ad, but a good one! So open it! In order to do that, you need a subject that grabs people’s attention, but not for the wrong reasons. Make sure that the subject is catchy and makes the reader think they should open the e-mail right away.
2. Make the Newsletter Interesting
Yes, the newsletter has to be informative, but that doesn’t mean it can’t also be interesting or even fun or entertaining. Have fun with the newsletters if you can. If you make it more than just something that says, ‘Hey! We’re still here!’ people will be more likely to open your letter up every time you send because they will be legitimately interested in what you have to say.
3. Keep It Simple
That being said, don’t carry on too long. Anything that takes longer than two to three minutes to read won’t get read. Make sure to bold and list important things so people can do a quick glance if they don’t have time to read.
These things will ensure that your e-newsletter always gets read!
