How To Come Up With Ideas For Content

Do you sometimes struggle with writing two or three blog posts a week? Does the idea of trying to continually update your website with interesting, useful and engaging content exhaust you?
You’re not alone!
It can often be difficult to come up with ideas or things to post about. It can be easy to procrastinate, slack off, and fail to do what you know you need to do in order to keep your website ranking high in search engine results and also in being shared with others through word of mouth and social media sharing.
One simple way to come up with content is to simply look at your own life and how it relates to what you are marketing. Often times, the things going on in your every day life, the every day concerns that you may have, are concerns that are relevant to other people. If your business is designed to fulfill a need that you found in your every day life, talking about your every day life makes absolute sense and is incredible relevant for your site.
It’s always easiest to write about what you already know because you are speaking from a position of authority (it is your life) and most people are significantly more comfortable when they are speaking from a position of authority. If you can find examples in your life that are relevant to your business, you can have an easily mined list of topics to blog about.
It’s also helpful to sometimes ask your readers what they’d like to hear more about. It can help them feel like they are really participating in a community if you ask for feedback on the things that you are posting and if there is something that they would like to see you either expand on or something you haven’t discussed yet that they are concerned about.
